Building projects on the missionary base

There is no shortage of renovations or new building projects to be done on base. We want to invest in building projects that will serve our ongoing work over decades to come. Here’s a glimpse into our situation:

On our premises, there is a row of connected buildings for staff, which can accommodate three parties. The accommodation block for course participants, guests and missionary teams consists several single rooms which can fit two bunk beds each. Our communal kitchen and bathroom with two shower units and two toilets are located outside the guestrooms. Pipes for running water have been installed and the water tank has been put in place on the water tower. What’s missing are the connecting pipes to the bathroom section and the outside kitchen.

There is still a lot to do! In the future we would like to:
• renovate/upgrade the guestrooms, build further apartments for guests or short-term missionaries
• complete the bathroom wing
• renovate the classroom and replace the old windows
• build a simple shelter for the night guard

Besides these bigger building projects we always have smaller projects, which will make this base more and more like a home and a training center that people like to visit.
